Methodist Spring Concert

Seamus and Saoirse had their Spring Concert for Preschool last night.  They sang a selection of folk tunes including "Puff the Magic Dragon", "John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt" and "Skip to My Lou".  They were great.  We celebrated afterwards with ice cream cones.  As you can see, there was a hula hoop contest at the ice cream store.

Three more school days and my baby Seamus will be a Kindergartener!

Happy Mother's Day

Game Ball!

Seamus was the MVP at his t-ball game today!  Way to go Seamie!  He is very proud (and Finn is very jealous),  I love it.

Seamus does not have a large wound on his head.  It is a hand made Harry Potter scar.   Apparently Voldemort was on the loose this afternoon.

Primping

Primping to go to a play downtown with Aunt Meg.

Saoirse is 4!

We are a little behind the times with all of our big events going on....but Saoirse turned 4 on Sunday!  Grandma and Pap were here to celebrate.  Grandma and Saoirse ate cake at 7:30 AM, 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM.

Saoirse received a vanity for her birthday from Mom and Dad.  It is a big hit but has also causes a bit of a problem getting out of the house in the morning.  A lot of grooming going on.

She also got to invite her classmates to Monkey Bizness for a party.  An all around good birthday, I would say!

Finn's 1st Communion

Finn made his 1st Communion on Saturday, May 4th at St. Francis Xavier Parish.  We were so glad that Grandma and Pap were here from Pittsburgh and that our Chicago family patiently sat through an hour and a half mass :)

Finn was very nervous!  He did look very handsome, didn't he?  Congratulations, Finn.  We love you.
