Christmas 2014

In 2014 Santa brought...an XBox One, Blackhawks sweatshirts, rings and earrings, many stuffed dogs, legos, the Harry Potter DVD series and hockey sticks for everyone.

Maggie was very intrigued by Saoirse's new stuffed Maggie.

Family Fun

We hit the new skating "Ribbon" that winds around the Maggie Daley lakefront park.  Enjoyed some cider, hot chocolate and strudel at the Kris Kringel Market and  then decided we had had enough of the crowds.  We had a great time, however all Murray's (mostly me) were sad that the lines were too long for both the brats and the hot pretzels.  Christmas combined with a 52 degree day had most Chicagoans out and about!   I'll take this weather anyway...

O Christmas Tree

Despite looking angelic in this photo, tree trimming got them really wound up...sigh.  Let the crazy holiday insanity begin.

Snoozin'

G, Finn and Peggy.  She went to sleep in Seamie's bed but apparently switched to Finn's when S fell asleep.

Hoops

Saoirse on the court.  She doesn't like it that much but she perks up when I tell her she looks like her Aunts out there!

Paperback Writers

Book making is the current craze in our house.  The main subject is a turtle on a hunt for food.  Riveting.

Super Star of the Week

Seamus is the star of the week in Ms. English's class starting today.  He was tasked with making a poster about himself as well as sharing his favorite book (Harry Potter) and his favorite toy (tech deck skateboards).  His class will "interview" him as well.

Seamus really put a lot of effort into this fancy poster.  I have never seen such neat handwriting or so many stars...
