Running (or Riding) Till They Drop

Finn and Seamus have been thoroughly enjoying their new suburban life.  Finn is clocking about six miles a day on his bike and Seamie is learning to peddle. Lots of pitches have been thrown as well.  All of this activity has exhausted old Finner.  His is sleeping in until 7:30 and had to be woken up for school yesterday.  Seemingly no effect on Seamus, of course...
Finn has gotten really quite good at riding his bike - minus a few scraped knees.  He rode to the park today, breaking at corners to wait for Mom and Dad.  We've been watching the River Forest Baseball League play after school.  They both love it.  Seamie comments on each play -- "He up now."  "He catch it."  "His turn."
Editorial note * it was pajama day at school today, hence the dinosaur pj's.

Hat Day

It is Spirit Week at Burr Elementary School.  For only $1.00 you get to wear a hat to school, your pj's another day, dress up with a "twin" and wear a sport's jersey at the end of the week.  Very exciting.

Finn chose to wear his helmet as his hat today.  He was still wearing it for his afternoon show watching.

Sue is 10!

While the Dinosaur Train event was quite disappointing, we did get to spot Sue the T Rex...
and Sue Henderson, the Sue that discovered Sue
(white haired woman in the background of picture below).
We held some Sue teeth as well.

Highlight was probably the hot dog had on the steps of the museum.
