Flowers for Our Neighbors

Our friend, Ellen, mother of Jane, is the President of the LaGrange Area New Comers and Neighbors. She has roped us into participation at a variety of events where we have met a lot of nice mamas and kids. Today we planted a flower to give to our neighbors.

Seamie chose to give his to Mrs. Fraser (not Mr. Fraser, just Mrs.)

Saoirse originally made hers for Daddy, but we decided the Hoffman's might be a better choice because Daddy is not Saoirse's neighbor.

Finn made two. 1.) Quinn and Jake 2.) Sean and Doyle.

All neighbors were quite pleased with their new plants.

Ribsy

We are reading Ribsy on the nook!

Finn has been a little obsessed with the new gadget around the house so I thought it would be fun to do his next chapter book on there. Both boy where thrilled to find out that Ribsy contains pictures on the nook as well. (Lack of pictures is the reason that Finn sights for his disinterest in Harry Potter...which his mother is really desireing to read again.)

We just finished Because of Winn Dixie which was a huge hit. It is a really good book. We've finished everything that Ronld Dahl has to offer. We're moving on to Beverly Cleary.

Any suggestions for our next read Uncle Sean or Grandma?

Swingin'

Seamie can pump! And Saoirse is trying. It is quite nice not to have to push Seamie on the swing. He is very proud of himself.
