A Little Tease

We got approximately .08 inches of snow. Saoirse and Seamus made the best if it despite the low temps and gale force winds.

More Christmas Singing

Mary had a baby, YES LORD.
Mary had a baby, YES MY LORD.
The people keep a-comin' and the train done gone.

What did she name him, YES LORD.
What did she name him, YES MY LORD.
The people keep a-comin' and the train done gone.

The Nutcracker

Saoirse, myself and five of our friends went downtown to attend the Nutcracker.

We lunched and had Kiddie Cocktails. Saoirse very much enjoyed Act I, applauding at all of the appropriate moments...and slept through Act II.

We look forward to this annual outing.

Zoo Lights

We enjoyed our annual trip to the Zoo Lights at Brookfield Zoo.

Cousins large and small joined us from the City.

Teacher Gifts

Working on gifts for ALL if our teachers. 12 all together...

Santa's Surprise

The Elf showed up with an early gift from Santa. We were very surprised! The Lorax! We can't wait to watch
(Thanks Grandma and Pap!)

Christmas Song Bird

Three Little Christmas Trees standing in a row.
Their hearts were very sad because they didn't have a home.
Then CHOP! CHOP! CHOP!
Down came the tree.
Off it went with a happy family.

At The Rink

Seamus is officially out (for now) but Finn is totally into hockey...much to my chagrin.  He is signing up for the next round and can't wait to be on a team.

Christmas Mysteries

St. Nick left us some candy (and a note telling Seamus to behave)! And the Elf has been showing up in all kinds if places...and drinking our hot cocoa!

"Hometown Holiday"

We hit the downtown LaGrange "Hometown Holiday" with our friends this evening. Ice sculptures, free pizza, candy canes, Santa and Mrs. Claus. All very exciting.
