"Field" Trip

We took a trip to the Field Museum on Tuesday.  We had an extra day off to celebrate MLK.  

The McNeela's joined us for the adventure.

We loved the giant iPad!  We put together a puzzle of Sue's bones.

Whew!  What a jam packed 5th birthday!  Seamus brought hockey puck cookies to class and got to go out to lunch with Mom, Dad and Saoirse.  After Art and Games we headed to the MAX for 1 hour full of bouncing and a lot of pizza and lemonade.  We got WAY TOO many gifts and had a VERY good time.  

We will get to the 5th Year Birthday interview this week.  Happy Birthday, dear Seamus, happy birthday to you our sweet, funny, baby man.

"Camp In"

We had a 542 Camp In on Saturday night. Ellen and Jane were at the Indian Princess Camp Out with their Dad's so the rest of us had a little fun of our own.

We participated in three legged races, pillow case races and "Stumping Sue" - which involved Sue blind folding guessing what mystery item was in her hand. Farting putty was the only thing that got her. We also had a Mama and child competition to see how many socks we could get on a child's foot in one minute. Saoirse and I tied with Sue and Cormac at 13 socks. We concluded with limbo.

To end the night we made s'mores in the fire place. I didn't have the chance to get too many photos. Too crazy! This is Seamus and Will tied together for the three legged race and Ellen and I racing Finn in pillow cases. Needless to say, Finn won.
