Snoozers

It's been a summer treat to get to fall asleep in our bed. It started out as a way to fall asleep in a nice cool spot -- they don't have a window unit in their room -- but now they just fall asleep there air conditioner or not. It is going to be hard to go back to the school schedule in just one short month!

Power-less

Not much else to do when it's 90 degrees and your power is out -- AGAIN.

Beach Day

We had a beautiful day at the beach with our old Bucktown friends. Lots of sand and ice cream. No water...but that makes things easier on mama anyway, right?

They're back

Well, they're back.

Both boys finished they're Park District sports camps today.

Both received a medal for their stellar participation. Seamus was most thrilled.

"My first medal," he kept whispering to himself.

He was parading it around the neighborhood this evening.

Go, Seamus. Go.
