Off to Preschool!

Finally her turn!

Saoirse rolled right into Mrs. Jackson's class liked she'd been there for months.  She was especially excited to see her music teacher, Mrs. Ashburn, as well.  A good day all around...until she melted down at 6PM, ate no dinner and was asleep by 6:45.

Peep the Parakeet

Look what we got!

Dad won't let us get a dog so we got a bird.  Her name is Peep because she looks like an Easter Peep.  As I was swiping my credit card to pay for her, Finn says "Mama, do birds die?"  Oh Lordy.

We were told her wings were clipped.  Not so!  See Mom pictured below, capturing Peep after her freedom flight through the house.

Saoirse read her a book about called Chicken Cheeks to calm her down.
