Kaden's Karnival
Another fun day in honor of Kaden Sweigard. Our friends list their son four years ago. They host an annual block party and "Karnival" every year to raise money for the hospital that cared for him.

Eating our way around town! Finn is pleased with his fried chicken sandwich.
Tons of art, artists and great studios around town. Kids loved perusing and window shopping much to our surprise. This building had a giant chalkboard where you could fill in the sentence "before I die I want to...". Finn wants to play for the Blackhawks, Saoirse wants to be a mom and Seamus is still thinking.

Tons of spontaneous bands playing around at all times of day and night. This one was our favorite. They were called St. Cinder. They live on a school bus with three dogs...Kids were intrigued.

Post white water rafting. No actual photos taken during this extreme sporting event. No one fell in. Success.
