Primping to go to a play downtown with Aunt Meg.

Saoirse is 4!

We are a little behind the times with all of our big events going on....but Saoirse turned 4 on Sunday!  Grandma and Pap were here to celebrate.  Grandma and Saoirse ate cake at 7:30 AM, 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM.

Saoirse received a vanity for her birthday from Mom and Dad.  It is a big hit but has also causes a bit of a problem getting out of the house in the morning.  A lot of grooming going on.

She also got to invite her classmates to Monkey Bizness for a party.  An all around good birthday, I would say!

Finn's 1st Communion

Finn made his 1st Communion on Saturday, May 4th at St. Francis Xavier Parish.  We were so glad that Grandma and Pap were here from Pittsburgh and that our Chicago family patiently sat through an hour and a half mass :)

Finn was very nervous!  He did look very handsome, didn't he?  Congratulations, Finn.  We love you.

Swimming Lessons

Seamus and Saoirse are doing great in their swimming lessons. Seamus is swimming freestyle (although he tells his instructor he is also very good at scuba diving).

Saoirse is floating on her back and starting to swim a few feet as well (although she prefers to show off her underwater front flips instead).
