Barnes and Noble

Saoirse and I went to Barnes and Noble this morning to purchase some gifts. We didn't see Uncle Sean anywhere. Weird.

We did see chocolate milk and about 12 Pinkalicious books that we were unfamiliar with. Very exciting.

Brotherly Love

Finn wrote this poem for Seamus for Valentine's Day.  It is inspired by the book I Love You the Purplest by Barbara M. Joosse.

Dear Seamus,

I love you the bluest.
I love you the color of blue water on a Summer day.
I love you the bluest.
Happy Valentine's Day.

Love, Finn

I hope they always love each other as much as they do now...and back then.

Finn Timothy, age 3
Seamus Owen, age 1

Wolves Game

We went to a John Carroll sponsored trip to the Chicago Wolves game last night. We were joined by fellow Blue Streaks, the O'Mahoney's, the Comers and the MacEntee's.

Fuzz enjoyed her first sporting event. Lots of clapping, dancing and popcorn.

The game ended in a tie-- 0 -0...very exciting. We departed. The Wolves did end up winning 1-0 in a shoot out.

Two Wild And Crazy Girls

Liv came out for the day this week. It was like spending the day with two drunk college girls.

There was an excessive amount of kissing, hugging, laughing, hand holding, tripping and calling hello to all people (and dogs) on the street.

Needless to say we had a very good time.

Wearing Our Red!

Saoirse was the only one who would dress the part. Seamus wore blue (shocking) and Finn wore a Blackhawks t shirt that had red writing.

We made heart shaped burgers for dinner!

Update: Taken Alive!

Squirrel has been captured alive.  He is quietly (probably due to a combo of peanut butter and dehydration) in his trap.  Kevin the trapper will be here in the morning to remove him and "give him back to nature" if he survives the night.

Squirrel!

There's a squirrel in the fireplace. This is cause for great excitement.

Some want to keep him. Some want to "give him back to nature".

Dad and I just want him out. Dead or alive.

Don't worry. A strong wall has been built and after watching a few scary videos on You Tube last night, we decided to call a professional. Kevin the trapper had set a trap and Dad is ready for anything in the meantime.
