Welcome Graham!
Meet our new cousin Graham Edward. 8 lbs 7 oz - about a pound bigger than his sister!
Seamus asked why babies were born with hats on their heads. Finn commented that Graham was chubby but cool.

Another One Bites The Dust
Well, here we are again. T has a fever and achy bones.
Fortunately, Dad taped the All Star game last night. It has passed the time nicely.
There were a fair amount of tears and lies this morning because Finn is the Star of the Week at school this week. He worked very hard on his All About Me poster this weekend. All he could talk about was how excited he was to share it. I tried to console him with a story about when I was in 3rd grade and had to stay home on the day we were going to eat astronaut food. It was devastating.
We emailed Mrs. Morkes. Finn was pleased to hear that he can share his poster first thing tomorrow morning.

Little Scientist
T was sharing a science experiment with us this afternoon. We watched marker colors race and expand down a paper towel when dipped in water. We could see that orange and yellow are in red and blue and green are in aqua.
Very neat, Finn!

Back to the Zoo
We're still a tad under the weather but really needed to leave the house.
The face paint just never gets old, does it?

Parent Teacher Conference
I had Seamus' first Parent Teacher Conference today.
Mrs. Georges says that the boy pictured above is sweet, quite and a pleasure to have in class.
Seamus is meeting all of his developmental goals and is overall doing a great job in preschool. Mrs. Georges says that she is sure that "he is always going to be a good student in the future." He only go a less than stellar remark for following classroom rules. He apparently runs in the classroom and make weapons out of toys :)
